Policies, Terms and Conditions:
 
Assembly  by 

Our bicycles are shipped to you in factory sealed boxes. which are 80% pre-assembled with instructions included. Our published prices are for this partially unassembled bicycle . Most of the major parts such as frame, fork, crank, suspension, rear wheel etc. have been pre-assembled before shipping. The remainder of the parts need either assembly/and or adjustment including handle bar, fender brackets, fenders, saddle, hand brakes, front wheel as well as others. The adjustments are required during assembly. Spokes and wheel attachment adjustment may also be necessary as they can shift during shipping. The manufacturer's warranty will not replace any part which can be adjusted to make it work properly.

 

For the safety reason, we (Bikesxpress.com and the Manufacturer) are not able to provide help with assembly/adjustment or any help with the instruction manual. We are not responsible for damages that occur because of improper assembly, adjustment, or installation. Therefore, we highly recommend you to contact your local bicycle shop for professional assembly and adjustment which is at your expense.

We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, American Express   and Discover. There is no surcharge for using your credit card to make purchases. We accept Master Card and Visa through our 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL). Please be sure to provide your exact billing address and telephone number (i.e. the address and phone number your credit card bank has on file for you). Incorrect information will cause a delay in processing your order. Your credit card will be billed upon shipment of your order. We track all IP addresses and report fraudulent activity. Please keep in mind, credit card fraud is a Federal Offense.

Money Orders, Cashier’s Checks, Company Checks, & Personal Checks  by 

We accept money orders, cashiers checks, personal checks, and company checks in U.S. Dollars only. Orders are processed upon receipt of a money order or cashiers check. For personal and company checks, please allow up to 10 banking days after receipt for clearance of funds before the order is processed. We cannot guarantee the availability of a product by the time funds clear or payment is received. We will charge a $25 fee on all returned checks.

Multiple Product Orders  by 
For a multiple product order, we will make every attempt to ship all products contained in the order at the same time. Products that are unavailable at the time of shipping will be shipped as they become available, unless you inform us otherwise. You will only be charged for products contained in a given shipment, plus any applicable shipping charges. You will only be charged for shipping at the rate quoted to you on your purchase receipt. The entirety of this shipping charge may be applied to the first product(s) shipped on a multiple shipment order.

Your receipt of an electronic or other form of order confirmation does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. Out-of-Stock Products  by 

Our inventory changes day to day which makes it impossible to guarantee that an item is available after being ordered. We will ship your product as it becomes available which will delay fulfillment. We will keep you informed of any products that you have ordered that are out-of-stock and unavailable for immediate shipment. You may cancel your order at any time prior to shipping.

Returns  by 

We will gladly accept the return of products that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 7 days from the date of purchase. Fulfillment mistakes that we make resulting in the shipment of incorrect product to you will also be accepted for return 7 days from the date of purchase. You must contact BikesXpress.com via e-mail (rma@bikesxpress.com) prior to returning products. We will reply back with an RMA number to put on Invoice to put in package. Products must be in UNUSED, WORKING condition. All returns are subject to a 25% restocking charge except from our fulfillment mistake. Shipping and handling to/from BikesXpress.com cannot be refunded. A copy of your invoice or packaging slip must accompany all returns. All products come with a 30 day warranty which ONLY cover manufacturer defects. Some manufacturers ofter longer warranties on their products. WE will ship out new products once the defective item has been returned. No exceptions.

Shipping Information and Rates  by 

Unless otherwise stated, shipping is based on size and weight and destination from using either UPS or Fedex. The carrier choice is dependent on different factors which cannot be chosen by the customer. However ground vs 2nd day air can be chosen. These shipping rates for the continental 48 states are automatically calculated and can be checked after items are placed in the shopping cart. Items shipped to Alaska and Hawaii may be more than what is stated initially on the website. You will be contacted regarding the additional fees prior to shipment.

 

Order processing can take between 1-3 days and shipping time will be based on your location as well as the current location of your item. At times, although our warehouse is in FL, certain manufacturers of bicycles will ship straight to you which may alter the delivery time either faster or slower. On average, shipping is between 2-7 days again based on your location and varies based on shipping method/carrier. A confirmation e-mail with a tracking number is sent when your package has been shipped. We cannot guarantee when an order will arrive. Consider any shipping or transit time as an estimate. We do offer 2nd day air shipping however this is in addition to the 1-3 day processing time. Items ordered on the weekend will start processing on Monday. 

 

Currently we do not ship internationally however certain exceptions may be made if full payment is made ahead of time with money order or wire transfer. Additional shipping fees will be included. Please contact us for further information.

 

Occasionally as part of a promotion we will offer free shipping on certain items. Many retailers who offer free shipping are doing so by building in their shipping costs into their prices. We prefer to keep our prices as low as possible as well as our shipping costs. At times, on larger items we are able to offer pick-up in California and Florida which would save the shipping fee altogether. We feel this is the best way to save you the most money!

Taxes  by 

Our Store shall automatically charge and withhold the applicable sales tax for orders to be delivered to addresses within the same state. For orders shipped to other states, you are solely responsible for all sales taxes or other taxes.

Typographical Errors  by 

In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Our Store shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, Our Store shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price

Warranties  by 

All bicycles sold on Bikesxpress.com include manufacturers warranties of different lengths depending on the manufacturer. To learn more about the manufacturers' warranty for a bike you have purchased, visit the manufacturers' website. We will gladly accept the return of products that are defective due to defects in manufacturing and/or workmanship for 7 days from the date of purchase.

 

The sole remedy of said warranties, implied or stated outright, is limited to replacement of defective parts with working parts of equal or greater value at the discretion of the Manufacturer. You will be responsible for shipping or labor costs. Bikes Xpress will will help you with your manufacturers' warranty claims for the first 30 days after purchase date.

 

What is not covered by the warranty includes but is not limited to many items which are described as follows: Any scratches, chipped paint or dents to wheel, fenders, fork, frame or any part even if caused by shipping damage. Other items include but not limited to are labor for adjustments or assembly, and/or wear and tear damages. Missing parts unless we are informed within 3 days from delivery are also not covered. All physical damage from accidents, misuse such as stunt riding, poor maintenance, corrosion or water damage are also not included in the warranty. The omission from this list does not apply any added coverage that is not already stated as part of the Manufacturers warranties.

 

Limitation of Liability: In all circumstances Bikes Xpresss liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the products sold. BikesXpress will not be responsible/liable for any claims, torts, indemnities or other types of claims related to the purchased products which exceeds the above described purchase price. This includes that BikesXpress will not be liable for any third party claims against the customer or manufacturers, loss of business or any other damages or losses.
